You are conducting an English speaking contest with your classmates. Give each person 1 minute to amaze you then comment on their performances.

Useful language

If your English was as good as your singing, a lot of people would think you’re talking German.

Shave off your beard and wear a dress. You would be a great female impersonator.

My advice would be if you want to continue studying English, don’t.

I have heard some bad English in my time. And I can honestly say that is one of the worst of them.

If you win this competition, I will have failed.

Oh, gosh, where do I start? I mean I’m not being rude but you look like the Incredible Hulk’s wife and you talk like her dog.

If you haven’t got it, you haven’t got it and you don’t have anything.

If you were talking like this two thousand years ago, people would have stoned you.
